Kafka Hibino lives in an apocalyptic world in the near future. The Japanese Defense Force are taking out Kaiju who ravage the world, after a freak accident Kafka gains the ability to turn into a Kaiju himself. He tries to navigate his new power while trying not to be killed by the JDF.
